On 6 Nov 2011, the Terrigal Rogue Runners are competing in the New York Marathon. This trip was planned over 2 1/2 years ago and during this time, I developed Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

I promised myself that if I got through the treatment, then I would still go to New York, complete the marathon and raise funds for Lymphoma.

My friends and I hope to raise as much money as possible for lymphoma as well as complete the dreams of our members.

Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system.
Lymphoma is:

5th most common cause of cancer in Australia
Lymphoma is one of the fastest growing cancers in the western world.
Unlike lung cancer and melanoma the cause is not known.

Lymphoma Australia is Australia's only not for profit charity dedicated exclusively to the provision of support and information to Australia's growing population of Lymphoma patients and their families.

We aim to:

Provide education and support for individuals with lymphoma and their support network
Raise community awareness to the signs of lymphoma
Advocate for the best treatment and care for lymphoma patients
